The word balsamic comes from the Greek word βάλσαμο (valsamo), meaning something that soothes and sweetens. In the same way, the strong, sour flavour of vinegar is sweetened when it’s balsamic. Carob syrup, grape must and raw honey are the natural sweeteners we use to produce our 3 different types of exquisite balsamic vinegar.
We blend them with our top quality wine vinegar. We then age the blend in a series of wooden oak barrels following the traditional balsamic vinegar production method. We never add sugar, caramel, preservatives or colouring. Use it to enhance the flavour of green salads, steamed and grilled vegetables or in any other meal. We leave it to your imagination!
